Sebastian Wrong: Harmony

(jiří macek) Sometimes a person hears a tune out of the window when time, the sun, and the wind come together at the right moment that causes its intensity to remain impressed in their mind forever. It is so simple with things as well. The chairs designed by Sebastian Wrong for the brand of Established and Sons have the sun, wind, and time in balance. They are light, simple, and beautiful.

The Ninja Pleasure drawings from Gonzales’s Solo Piano jewel case show how to create a dog, a goat, a cat, a rhino, and a piano player face out of shadows by means of one’s fingers. I like the CD a lot because of the piano sound, its tunes able to be played with ease. When one places this stool by Sebastian Wrong in the sun, it casts a shadow and turns into a table. When one turns it upside down, he/she will see a flower and a fountain. When one takes the version with a backrest in his/her hands, he/she will see a chair. It is just a wooden rod bent several times, a seat (with a backrest), yet it represents a perfect chair. The Sessel is a sculpture of simplicity, an homage to Alvar Aalto.
