(jiří macek) If you thought that the jewelry by Markéta Richterová, who won the Editors-in-Chief Award at Designblok in the Best Jewelry Collection category, was attractive, you must have also noticed the form of her installation and remember the name of Zbyněk Krulich.
Zbyněk Krulich, a graduate from the Czech Technical University in Prague, currently studies at the Architecture and Design studio led by Jiří Pelcl at the AAAD in Prague. He placed the jewelry collection, designed by Markéta Richterová, onto a huge dark floating cloud that evoked the feeling of special encounters, the future, intimacy, and luxury. However, the small table for a custodian on spidery legs was a jewel in itself, in my opinion. Thanks to it, the cloud could be both the moon and a meadow. This was a simple, beautiful installation in which jewelry appeared like magical towns.
