(jiří macek) If you do not know what to wear in this heat, you might appreciate the Minimal Dress designed by Digna Kosse, who studies at the Design Academy in Eindhoven. Her fashion paraphrasing of the fairytale about the princess who was neither dressed nor naked explores other issues as well.
Digna Kosse focused primarily on limiting the consumption of materials within the fashion industry. Although it may sound absurd, when we imagine how many clothes the fashion industry spews out and does not sell every year, not even through discounts, our smiles fade. Another interesting aspect of this attire/jewelry is the moment when the attire turns into jewelry, i.e. how much must we wear not to be naked and socially unacceptable. How minimal may the Minimal Dress be? What do you think? Would you dare to wear the robe by Digna Kosse to a beach or a party? Or to a theatre?
