3DH: Premium Class in Karlín

(jana zielinski, jiří macek) 3DH are opening their new showroom in the River Diamond building in Karlín today. It will house many exquisite brands and labels. The showroom itself is very special. It is glittering.

In particular, architects Aleš Lapka and Petr Kolář from the ADR studio were assigned to design the 520m2 showroom. Sandra Špačková collaborated with them on the interior design. White is the dominating color. From the street, one can see the snakelike sofa by the Campana brothers – the iconic piece from the catalogue of the Italian brand Edra. The showroom also teems with other interesting brands: Arper, Emu, Edra, Figueras, Fritz Hansen, Horm, Living Divani, Magis, Patt, Plank, Playsam, Poliform, Serralunga, Sub-Zero, Tribú, Varenna, Wolf, and Zanotta.

Individual furniture pieces are presented in their natural arrangements – a kitchen, a bedroom, a living room for a family, a living room for a couple or a single, a dressing room, a home office, and a garden. However, visitors will also be able to have a look at luxuriously highlighted icons, such as the limited edition of the Egg chair by legendary Danish designer Arne Jacobsen. The accessories and lights are also worth noting. 3DH also offers to implement the interior design into one’s own house, flat, or office. 3DH owner Radek Krčil says, “For me, it has been the most difficult year so far. There is the new showroom; my son was born; we have a lot of work; I’m reconstructing my house. I am happy about it.” I believe Mr. Krčil deserves to be happy. The prestige of Karlín as a location is constantly growing. There are more and more excellent brands and showrooms every year. 3DH showroom is one of the best in Prague. It really does glitter.
